Founded by awarding winning British designer Hannah Dale the iconic company Wrendale Designs has been producing whimsical animal designs on a range of tableware products since 2012. Based on the watercolour paintings that were inspired by the artists surroundings in the Lincolnshire countryside.

These stunning watercolours with such unique animal designs are now reproduced on greeting cards, home ware products such as mugs, placemats and coasters as well as a comprehensive range kitchenware utensils such as wooden spoons and oven gloves through to table runners and napkins.

Many of the kitchen products are available with various animal designs, such as hedgehogs, ducks and rabbits and many more of the animals found in the British countryside.

Concentrating on producing the designs and ensuring that the stunning animal images are always kept fresh and making sure the popular animals from the original range are complimented with new serving trays designs that always follow the same distinctive theme.

Melamine Wrendale serving trays

The manufacture of the finished products in the case of most of the melamine tableware products is handled by the Portmeirion company and many of the items including Wrendale trays are incorporated in the melamine ranges of some of the Portmeirion brands such as Pimpernel and Royal Worcester

With the production expertise of Portmeirion, Wrendale have been able to produce high quality melamine serving trays depicting some of their most popular Wrendale animal designs such as those of the Owl and Hare.

The various sizes of Wrendale trays, such as the larger serving tray, the sandwich size and the smaller scatter trays are all made from food safe, durable melamine. This lightweight material is a firm favourite for use in carrying food and dishes from the kitchen to wherever your guests are waiting.
